What if I entered the wrong address?If your order is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, we’ll contact you to get updated details. You’ll be responsible for any reshipping fees. If you choose to cancel instead, we’ll refund your order minus shipping costs.

Can I cancel or return my order?Cancellations: Accepted within 24 hours of purchase (unless you’ve already received a fulfillment notification). Returns/Refunds: Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges are offered. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your package and we’ll do our best to resolve it.

Why is there a special policy for body butters?Our body butters are heat sensitive. During warmer months, they may melt in transit. While the texture may change, the benefits remain the same—they’ll firm back up in a cool, dry space. Because of this, sales of body butters are final during hot-weather shipping. 👉 If you’re local to Maryland, we recommend local pick-up for body butters between late May and early September.

Are your products always the same?Each Jintara® product is handcrafted in small batches with natural ingredients. Because of this, slight variations in color, texture, or scent may occur. These natural differences don’t affect quality or effectiveness—they’re part of what makes handcrafted products unique!

How long does it take to process and ship my order?Orders are processed within 2–7 business days (not including weekends or holidays). Once processed, your order will ship using your chosen method (USPS or UPS). You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your package is on the way.

Are Jintara® products safe for sensitive skin?Our line is plant-based and free of mineral oil, petroleum, sulfates, parabens, and unnecessary fillers. However, many products contain shea butter and tree nut oils. We recommend a patch test if you: Have never used raw shea butter Have tree nut allergies or sensitive skin Are trying our products for the first time If irritation occurs, discontinue use. For external use only.

Do you ship everywhere?Yes! We ship to all 50 states using USPS or UPS. At checkout, you can select the carrier that works best for you. Please double-check your shipping address before finalizing your order—once a label is created, no changes can be made.

Can I pick up my order locally?Yes! Local pick-up is available at MIY Creative Studios during our normal operating hours. Please select “Local Pick-Up” at checkout. Orders must be picked up within 7 days. If not picked up, a $5 restocking fee will be applied, and the order will be refunded minus that fee.

What types of workshops do you offer?At Jintara® inside MIY Creative Studios, you can experience hands-on self-care through candle making, body butter crafting, soap making, body scrub making, and combo workshops that includes perfume & cologne blending & candle making . Each workshop is interactive—and you always leave with your own plant-based creation.

What happens after the workshop—do I take my creation home?Absolutely! Every participant goes home with their own crafted soap, scrub, body butter, fragrance, or candle. You’ll leave with both a product and a memorable experience.

Do you sell products too, or just host workshops?We do both! Alongside workshops, Jintara® offers plant-based soaps, butters, scrubs, candles, and more. Perfect for gifting or continuing your wellness rituals at home.

How do I book a private or group workshop?You bring the food, we deliver the fun! Whether it’s for a party, corporate team-building, a bridal shower, or just a night out—we’ve got you covered. Reach out through our contact form or booking page to design your private experience. We host in-studio or we can bring Jintara® to you.

Where and when do the workshops happen?We’re located at 715 Frederick Road in Catonsville, MD inside MIY Creative Studios. Public workshops run regularly, and we also host private and special events outside normal studio hours. Check our booking page for available dates

Do you offer gift certificates or subscriptions?Yes! Gift cards and workshop passes make the perfect present. Subscriptions and product bundles are also available to keep your self-care flowing month after month.

Can I cancel or reschedule a class?We understand things come up! While we don’t offer credits or refunds, you’re always welcome to reschedule your workshop for another date. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll help you find a new time that works.

Is it helpful to register ahead of time?Yes. Since we prep materials and space based on expected guests, registering ahead helps us create a smooth, personalized experience. Walk-ins welcomed based on availability. Walk-ins not accepted during Special Events

What’s included in the workshop experience?Your seat covers everything—materials, tools, and expert guidance. We also set the vibe with a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Just bring yourself, and leave with a finished product and a self-care ritual that’s all yours. Refreshments provided.

Can I gift a subscription to someone else?Absolutely! You can gift a Jintara subscription to someone you love. Contact us directly to set it up—we'll help make it special.

Can I cancel anytime?Yes! You can cancel your subscription anytime before your next billing cycle. We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand.

Can I upgrade my product or make more than one item?Yes! We offer premium upgrades in-studio, such as larger product sizes, specialty butters, decorative molds, and more. These are available for an additional fee.

What if I have allergies or sensitivities?We’re big on ingredient transparency. Ingredient lists are available in-studio. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate or guide you to the safest options.

What’s included in the subscription?Each month, you’ll choose one product to make: either a handcrafted botanical soap or a rich, nourishing whipped body butter. You’ll work independently using premium ingredients, vessels, tools, and have access to the curated fragrance oil bar. Plus, you’ll receive 15% off all Jintara online and in-store purchases.

What if I miss a month?We understand life gets busy. If you can’t make it one month, your unused session can roll over into the following month. Just a heads-up—rollovers are limited to one month at a time, so it’s best not to delay more than once in a row

Is this a guided workshop?No, this is a self-guided experience. This subscription is best suited for those who have attended at least one Jintara workshop and feel confident working independently. You’ll have everything you need to create—just no instruction provided.

How do I schedule my studio visit?No need to book a ticket in advance—just check the M.I.Y. Creative Studios website for current open studio hours OR give a call 24 hours before you intend to come to make sure there isn't any private event conflicts, then come by when it works for you. Bring your subscription vibes and your creativity. Usually open studio times for Jintara ® are Fridays 6p-9p, Saturdays 12p-9p, Sundays 4p-7p

Can I bring food or drinks?Yes! You’re welcome to BYOB or bring your own snacks, but please note that refreshments will not be provided as part of the subscription.
