Jintara® started in the kitchen of our founder, Vanessa's home. Her youngest daughter suffered from dry, sensitive skin and she wanted to find a way to help keep her skin at bay naturally. Deciding to go against social norms, she  wondered if there was a more natural way to care for the body. She began researching and formulating recipes to be used on the human body. After coming up with formula the she affectionately named "Itchy Bye-Bye Cream" and seeing  how it worked to moisturize her family's dry, irritated skin, she wanted to be able to help other families as well.   Coming from the Japanese word Jui Tai meaning "human body", Jintara® aims to provide natural , plant based total body care items. With a constant goal and passion to have products free from  unnecessary additives , we  never make short cuts for the sake of ease and quick profit. Thus a passion grew into this "at the heart" company.  We hope you'll find our site to truly be a place for discovering unique, safe and fun products to use from the top  of your head to the bottom of your feet.
